Asbestos Awareness Training Course

A short course providing high-quality interactive training designed to help learners carry out an express checking of asbestos where it may or may not be present to commence operations safely. The maximum number of attendants is 20 per session, which will last about 4 hours. The course will embed practical knowledge and skills regarding asbestos awareness.

Asbestos Awareness Training Course Content


The Asbestos Awareness Training course contains a theoretical part as well as practical session, both of them followed up with an assessment to be completed by the delegate.

The content will cover the following:
- Legal perspective – HSWA 1974, Management of HSW regulations 1999 and
-Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the supporting Approved Code of Practice L143 'Managing and working with asbestos'.
